I have been wondering what in the world is going on here. Last year, continuing into this year, we have lost four of our dogs to various maladies. All four of them we brought with us from Tennessee. Rosabelle was a close fifth, but last year we spent nearly $1,000 to save her life. She's doing great, thanks to all of you who have supported us both in spirit, with prayers and good wishes. About two weeks ago, Loki, my former guard dog, now turned House Hippo, we found a spot on his belly that looked exactly like my hernia; about the same size too. That "little spot this weekend grew to baseball size. He wasn't acting like himself, and I am still a bit worried that we were going to lose him too! I had to call around to get him seen, and Dr. Flanders at the Veterinary Clinic saw him at 10:40 this morning.
